I hope you’re having a great summer! Please check out my
Facebook page for Pint Size Polkas
to see what I’ve been up to. I usually post several
times a week, and you can learn exciting things like what I
ate for dinner, see videos of my golf swing, and even
sometimes see photos taken at a few of my programs!
Seriously, check it out – it’s a lot of fun!
On the Mike Schneider Band front, I am extremely happy to
report that this coming August through October are shaping
up to be some of our busiest months in recent memory.
Several new events highlight next month’s schedule, like two
Waukesha Parks Beer Gardens, Schnitzel Platz Restaurant in
Chicago, Muskego Community Festival, and the Walworth County
Fair. Looking forward to performing at these new venues, and
hope that you’ll join us!
If you haven’t picked up your copy of Happy Polka Day on CD
yet, what are you waiting for? The new recording has earned
plenty of praise from DJs and fans alike! Listen to samples
and order your very own copy today by going to the
If you ask, I’ll even autograph it for you! (Not that it’s
worth much, but some people like that kind of thing, and I’d
be happy to oblige!)
In September we kick off Oktoberfest season, and are very
happy to be returning once again to Oak Creek Lions Fest,
Café Bavaria, Hoffman Estates Platzkonzert, St. Gregory the
Great (my family’s old Parish when we lived in Milwaukee),
Glendale Heights Oktoberfest, Gemuetlichkeit Days, and the
Milwaukee Oktoberfest. It should be a great month!
For Pint Size Polkas, I’m looking forward to wrapping up my
summer tour with programs in the Washington, DC area this
week, then heading into WV and OH briefly the beginning of
August to wrap up my big summer tour. Between the beginning
of June and the end of next month, I will have put on around
125 programs from as far west as Gallup, NM, to as far east
as Washington, DC. It’s been an amazing summer, and I’m
already excited about the prospects of 2018! Hope to see you
soon at a library near you!
